What I do

I run workshops, trainings, and coaching for teams and individuals across Asia-Pacific.

The work centres on understanding self and others, collaborating better, and navigating the moments where experience alone isn't enough. Sometimes with leadership teams facing hard decisions; sometimes with individual contributors learning to work together well. MBTI and similar frameworks often help make what is invisible visible. Thirty-three years working across cultures adds particular depth.

Thirty-three years, three turns

Not a résumé. Three moments that shaped what I do now.

1993

Arrival, and Infinity IT Success

I came to Thailand at twenty-eight and founded an IT services company in Bangkok — as a non-technical German leading a Thai team of engineers. My work was already what it is now: translating between tech and non-tech, between German precision and Thai relational culture, between what clients wanted and what the code could actually do. Sixteen years of it taught me exactly which parts of leadership training don't survive contact with a real office in Asia.

2009

Handing over the company, turning to coaching

I delegated the running of the IT business and started training as a coach and facilitator. What pulled me was the same pattern I'd seen in my own company for years: skilled people getting stuck on the human ground, and no one in the room able to name it out loud.

2013

Senior consultant and trainer

Thirteen years and counting delivering leadership and negotiation programs for multinationals across Asia-Pacific and virtually across the world. The room is always the same — people trying to work well with each other in situations their experience did not quite prepare them for.
